09-13-2026 Morning Prayer

Father God, how marvelous, how wonderful is Your love for us, that you sent your

only begotten son to die for our sins and to overcome death. We thank you for

your amazing grace and mercy. You are worthy of all our praise!

As we consider “Do not be lukewarm,” if we focus on “lukewarm” we will stay

lukewarm. Help us to turn our thoughts to who you created us to be, and what

you are calling us to be—Alive in Christ, living into the Freedom in Christ.

It is not that we have to do more, we simply invite You into our lives today to take

over, saying “Here I am Lord,” abiding in You, surrendering to you, and letting you

mold us and make us into the image of Christ.

We see every person and every situation through the eyes of Christ. We live into

Your Living Word, to love, encourage, forgive; We seek and use the gifts that You

have given us to build up Your Church; we lay our burdens down at the feet of

Jesus. We ask You to search our hearts, create in us clean hearts, cleansed by the

Spirit, and to heal all of the broken places. Write Your Name and Your Word on

our hearts. Make us Your instrument as we lift up our hands and our hearts to

You.

Amen.
