Prayers for Prodigals

Apr 5
1 min read

This special prayer focus began 2 months ago with a Holy Spirit nudge, and

immediately struck a chord with the Prayer Team, leading to a Prodigal box to collect names to pray over and "Prayers for Prodigals" prayer cards for the submitter. The response has been amazing, with 50 names received. Lent has provided a special time for “pressing in.”

The Prodigal box and prayer cards will remain on the table for Easter Sunday. The

Prayer Team will remain with you in the long haul, continuing to pray over all names.

New names can always be submitted as a Prayer Request.

Heavenly Father, we lift up _______ to You. You are the Good Shepherd who

leaves the ninety-nine to find the one who is lost [John 10:11-14]. Your Word says

You will watch over our comings and goings both now and forevermore [Psalm

121:8]. Lord, be _________’s refuge and fortress; keep _________ safe and lead

him/her to you [Psalm 91:2]. We speak peace over the storms of this world,

knowing You have not given ____________ a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and

a sound mind [2 Timothy 1:7]. We ask for Your peace, which transcends all

understanding, to guard his/her heart and mind in Christ Jesus [Philippians 4:6-

7]. May _______ come to know the depth of Your love and find full salvation in

You, knowing that nothing can separate her/him from the love of God and your

grace [Romans 8:38-39]. I release ____________ into the loving arms of Jesus,

trusting that He is works all things together for good in His perfect ways and

timing. In Jesus name, Amen
